After all, you’re going to need something to get you through that morning-after hangover, so get your day drink on at some of the city’s best new boozy brunch spots. The Vinatta Project
Your wish is Chef Mike “Kiwi” Camplin’s command! This past Saturday, The Vinatta Project presented its brunch menu for the first time to all those in need of a treat. From now on, $65 gets you an entrée and a pitcher of any bespoke cocktail. Don’t want to dish out the cash? Grab a plate a la carte like the Seared Hanger Steak, Arugula, Parmesan, Roasted Tomato ($18) and groove along with the live Brazilian band. Food, music, and drinks will give your day a kick start better than morning coffee!

Talde
Former Top Chef adversary, Dale Talde’s Brooklyn buzz worthy restaurant isn’t serving your traditional pancake and eggs brunch. Get sum Dim Sum (couldn’t resist the play on words) to bring a little spice to your day! Talde offers an array of unique bites from the East including the Korean Chicken Wings and Waffles ($14) that are smothered in coconut brown butter syrup. Top those off with some tater tots ($4) and an exotic cocktail like the Perilla Leaf Mojito ($10) for an eclectic meal guaranteed to satisfy your grumbling tummy!

The Bowery Diner
With a retro ambiance, The Bowery Diner would be the location for a remake of Barry Levinson’s ‘80s classic, Diner. Like the film, this spot’s menu consists of the classic American breakfast meals like Hot Fresh Pancakes ($11.95) but also offers a selection of treats from the sea like Taylor Bay Scallops ($9). If your sweet tooth starts aching, cure it with their famous milkshakes! Or if you want to accompany your meal with a dash of royalty, order the Grace Kelly. No, not the real blonde beauty—the cocktail ($11)!

Allswell
If a crazy night of partying leads to sleeping ‘til the late afternoon, never fear Allswell is here! No need to worry about missing the cut off for brunch because they serve it all day, every day. The menu changes on a weekly basis providing a plethora of different meals a month that makes it a little harder for regulars to order “the usual”. But dining’s never been so full of fun surprises! So head down this week and try the Broccoli de Cicco with Chevre, green garlic and almonds ($13) and then be filled by a different—but still completely satisfying—entree next Sunday.

Kutsher's Tribeca
Nestled in the heart of Tribeca, Kutsher’s will bring back memories of grandma’s house during Passover…with a twist! The modern bistro kicks up the traditional Jewish-American restaurant with an affluent atmosphere to boot. Take a seat at one of the leather banquettes and ditch the eggs and bacon for a sandwich like The Rascal (hot-smoked salmon salad, Nova, chive cream cheese, tomato and red onion on a bagel $14) and wash it down with Bloody Mary’s sister, Gazpacho Mary ($12). This family owned restaurant won’t disappoint those in need of some comfort-brunch-food with added flair.

Whether you’re looking for something light or heavy, La Promenade des Anglais has got an extensive brunch menu. Wake yourself up in a room flooded with natural light and sip on your freshly squeezed mimosa ($10) as you take a gander at the laundry list of potential meals! Veggie-out with the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad ($12) or try the decadent caramelized banana crepe that’s topped off with Nutella and whipped cream ($12). If your appetite’s in need of some major fillers, try a pasta dish like Paccheri ($21). The Confit rabbit, peas and toasted hazelnuts that garnish the meal sets the brunch-bar up higher than your average buttermilk pancake.

How could you not sink your teeth into a hearty piece of meat when you’re at a place called The Cannibal? It would be rude not to! This joint makes brunch-time easy as pie offering meals such as grilled cheese ($10), Pigs Head Cuban ($12), and a ton of different sausages! The selection of craft beers is also a huge plus when you need the hops to settle the spices from the meaty suasages.
