The Pumpkin Punch at Kastel
If you could melt pumpkin pie, mix it with rum and drink it through a straw, this is what you’d get…
Ingredients
2.5 oz of Bacardi
8 year aged rum
1oz of pineapple juice
¾ oz of lemon juice
¾ oz of orange juice
.5 oz of spiced pumpkin puree
.5 oz of date molasses
1 dash of Fee Brothers original bitters
Preparation
Shake really hard over ice. Serve in burgundy glass and garnish with nutmeg.

Ingredients
2 oz of tomato juice
Worcestershire Sauce
Tabasco
Budweiser
2 lemons
2 limes
Old Bay
Preparation
Take a pint glass rimmed with Old Bay and fill with ice. Add 2oz of tomato juice, 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce, 4 dashes of Tabasco. Fill glass with Budweiser and top off with tomato juice. Squeeze in 2 lemons and 2 limes.

Preparation
Add tequila, sour mix, mezcal and ice to the glass level. Shake and pour into a sal de gusano rimmed martini glass.

3 oz of Wild Turkey Honey Bourbon
3 oz of Dr. Pepper
Twist of lemon
Splash of soda water
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, and serve over ice in a rocks glass.

The Green Bloody Mary at Ofrenda
There’s no better way to simultaneously cure a hangover and kick off round two than with this fiery bloody concoction…
NOTE: The recipe is in two parts, one for the spooky green mix, and the other for the Bloody Mary to be made with the mix.
Ingredients for mix:
6 medium tomatillos, roasted
6 medium tomatillos, raw
2 jalapenos, roasted
2 jalapenos, raw (vary the jalapenos according to desired heat)
1 roasted poblano pepper
1 medium cucumber, skin and seeds removed
Preparation
Remove skins and seeds from roasted peppers, skins from roasted tomatillos and seeds and stems from the raw peppers. Puree all ingredients briefly in a blender, but avoid liquefying the tomatillo seeds. (Makes enough for 8-10 drinks)
Ingredients for drink:
2 ½ oz tomatillo mix
1 ½ oz Tanteo jalapeno tequila
3/4 oz lime juice
pinch of kosher salt
1/4 oz agave nectar (or simple syrup)
3 dashes salsa magi
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Wet rim of a Collins glass with lime juice and dip in a mixture of sea salt and chile piquin, then pack with ice. Shake ingredients with ice and strain into prepared glass. Garnish with a sliced tomatillo.

Midori Melon Eye-Tini

Ingredients
1 ¼ parts Midori Melon liqueur
¾ parts SKYY Infusions Citrus
½ part Finest Call agave syrup
2 parts of Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale
2 parts Finest Call sweet & sour mix
3 orange wedges
2 fresh ripped basil leaves
Strawberry sundae syrup
Preparation
In a shaker glass combine Midori Melon liqueur, SKYY infusions Citrus, Finest Call agave syrup, 3 orange wedges and 2 fresh ripped basil leaves. Muddle ingredients together. Add ice and Finest Call sweet & sour mix. Shake for 10 seconds. Add Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale and roll drink back and forth between your mixing tin and shaker glass. Strain into a chilled martini glass drizzled with sundae syrup to give an effect of a bloodshot eye. Garnish with a red seedless grape at the bottom of the glass (to look like an eyeball) and spanked Basil leaf on top of cocktail for aroma.

Witch’s Pumpkin Egg Nog
Ingredients
1.5 oz Appleton Estate Reserve Rum (Infused with cloves, allspice, cinnamon)
0.5 oz Navan Vanilla Liqueur
1 oz eggnog
1 oz pumpkin purée (from the can)
4 dashes Fees Aromatic Bitters
1 bar spoon Maple Syrup Grade B
Optional: fresh whipped cream
Preparation
Build all ingredients in your shaker; shake and strain into a chilled martini or coop glass; top with fresh whipped cream (optional) |
