We know, we know, it feels like it was a mere hot minute ago that we were raising our ice cold margs in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, but July 4th is right around the corner, so you best start planning your patriotic partying pronto! And sure, it sucks that it falls on a Wednesday this year, but that tiny bump in the road isn’t stopping this city from doing up Fourth of July right. Whether you hit up Pier 92 to clink glasses with Lil Jon and Wyclef, climb atop the Empire State Building to watch the famous fireworks, step back in time with a Revolutionary War walking tour or stuff your face silly at Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, Shecky’s has Fourth of July festivities for whatever level of buzz you desire. Start practicing that beer-induced “USA!” chant, get ready to sport those stars and stripes proud, and give it up for the good ol’ US of A on its 236th birthday!
