It’s that dreaded feeling we all get this time of year…and no, we’re not talking about the heat. We’re talking about the heat ending! Sure, the summers are brutal in NYC but come fall, we’re all going to be wishing for the days we could lay on a beach or when the sun set after we got out of work. In honor of the season ending, we’re bringing you cocktails that will give you a last-minute taste of summer, full of bright, fresh, seasonal flavors to savor while the warm weather lasts. If you want to guzzle down a fruity bev at Yerba Buena Perry Street or take an exotic taste bud vacation at Booker & Dax, you’ve got to try these summery sips before Labor Day. Here’s to you, summer!

The Spotted Pig
If you’re sick of girly, fruity drinks that the summer always calls for, then hit up The Spotted Pig for a sophisticated cocktail that won’t have your tummy in a bunch from an overload of sugar. The PG Tipple is a summer-satisfying tea spiked with Bulleit Bourbon, lemon and orange marmalade. The combination of ingredients makes for one strong hard tea with a bitter kick to it.

Yerba Buena Perry Street
Being that watermelon is one of the most refreshing fruits to munch on in the summer, we had to pay homage to a fab cocktail that includes the juicy fruit. Over at Yerba Buena Perry Street, the Sun-Dia is made of Herradura blanco tequila, elderflower liqueur, jalapeño infused Cointreau, watermelon and lime. Now Sun-dia cookouts will be more than just burgers and beer!
