If you want warm winter bonding with friends, a delicious pot of cheese fondue is the way to go. Sure, the newly-opened La Cave des Fondus, with its communal tables and wine in baby bottles, may seem trendy, but this is one trend that’s too tasty to skip. There are several fine places in town to get your fondue fix. Or you could even turn your apartment into a mountain chalet and serve up fondue in front of a roaring video fire on your faux-bearskin rug—see our recipe below. Because what other group activity involving flame, pokers, bonding, and hot liquid can you do in public? (Don’t answer that.)
