Manhattanites, your going to need to take your darkest eyeliner out of retirement for this one (you might even want to consider wearing skinny jeans or your favorite, most over-priced, designer boutique, thrift store inspired, new yet attempting to be vintage, classic rock band t-shirt). That’s right you’re taking the L to the G train into Brooklyn. Sputnik bar is hosting an event appropriately titled "The Freak Show" tonight, Friday June 8th featuring live music, sketch comedy, as well as art of various varieties like still, live video, and live painting art (even of the body variety), and of course, the standard Brooklyn bartender dressed like a clown, topped off with a burlesque performance at the end of the evening. All proceeds of the event, oddly enough, go to Save Darfur. It’s Friday, and its time to venture out of Manhattan, get a little freaky, and go with it.
