Single? Dreading Valentine's Day? Well, you couldn't possibly have a worse go of it than the namesake Saint himself, who ended up stoned, beaten and beheaded, all for hooking up a Christian couple in ancient Rome (being a wing-man was a rough business in those days). Not helpful? In that case, here's a list of things to do this Sunday with like-minded V-Day haters. All of them will keep you drinking, dancing, laughing and weeping straight into Presidents' Day.

Here's one way to get through a tough break-up: Draw it. New York Times columnist and long-time Baltimore City Paper cartoonist, Tim Kreider, gets "graphic" while sharing his post-romance woes with a slideshow of works during the ironically-named (of course) Valentine's Day Love-In at KGB Bar. Trust us, you'll be feeling better about yourself in no time.
Sunday, 7-9 @ KGB, 85 E. 4th St. @ 2nd Ave., East Village, 212.505.3360 |

The Diamond recently got a bit of a Valentine: It was named one of the Top 150 beer bars in the nation byDraft Magazine. So, though it's an Anti-Valentine's Day Party for Singles, they're obviously in the mood to share the love. This means $1 off drinks for your single ass, $2 cupcakes, anti-love songs all night and a battle of the sexes on the shuffleboard table (winner gets a $25 bar tab and a crown of Reissdorf Koelsch). We're guessing that's a very good beer.
Sunday, 5-9 @ The Diamond, 43 Franklin St. @ Calyer St., Greenpoint, 718.383.5030 |

Can't wait until Valentine's Day to indulge your pity party? Those sad blokes at Feeling Gloomy are already feeling your pain, and have a special "Down With Dating" event prepared for the occasion. Wallow in your angst, spread the tainted love, and enjoy $4 Svedka drinks, all while getting (really) down to bleak Brit-pop and other doleful ditties at Fontana's. Love will tear you apart again.
Thursday, 9pm @ Fontana's, 105 Eldridge St. @ Grand Sts.. Lower East Side, 212.334.6740 |

You organized crime mavens know that St. Valentine wasn't the only person to meet a grisly fate on February 14th. But that doesn't mean you should fear the St. Valentine's Day Massacre at (Le) Poisson Rouge. That is, unless you fear a night of dancing, live power ballads, $5 wells and trashy cupid go-go dancers with New York's Naughtiest, Michael T., Justine D. and crew. If you do, enjoy your couch and your fro-yo. By yourself.
Sunday, 10pm @ (Le) Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker St. @ Thompson St., Greenwich Village, 212.228.4854

Turns out, you're not the only one with romantic troubles. In fact, The Rejection Show at The Bell House plays host to 15 different comedians, each sharing their travails in the field of love. Plus, how can you resist an event with the slogan "Find Someone to French!"? Afterward, head to the front bar for "Love Hurts," a night of soul-purging Valentine's karaoke.
Sunday, 8pm @ The Bell House, 149 7th St. @ 2nd Ave., Gowanus, 718.643.6510
