George Gee is the first and only Chinese-American swing band leader, and old-timey music fans won’t want to miss his holiday spectacular. This New Year’s Eve, take a trip back to a jazzier time at “Sleigh Bells Swing” with George Gee and his Make-Believe Ballroom Orchestra at the Edison Ballroom. With tap dancers, lindyhoppers, and a bandstand with 22 tuxedoed swing musicians, it promises to be one swell night. The evening involves a four-course dinner from 7pm-9pm, a floor show from 9pm-10pm, and dancing until the wee hours for $190 per person, but you can attend the dancing-only portion of the evening for $75 per person (includes open bar and hors d’oeuvres).
