Danny Aiello is a late bloomer: He made his acting debut at age 36 on Broadway. But he’s more than made up for it since. Not only has he starred in movies such as “Do the Right Thing,” Moonstruck,” and “29th Street,” but he recently dropped a
jazz album that made the Billboard charts—and now, he's hosting a comedy event.

Danny’s Upstairs, a weekly live comedy night he recently began hosting on Wednesdays at laidback bar
G2 (
Gaslight’s brother). “I believe comedy should be, along with singing, in a bar/saloon atmosphere,” says Aiello. With a $20 cover, comedy, great eats, and the guy who played the papa in Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach” video, how can you go wrong?
