In 1400 and 92 Columbus sailed the ocean blue, and over 500 years later we have this warm, comfy Spanish restaurant to enjoy. With a beautiful garden patio out back, 1492 sets sail with delicious tapas that run from $6-$10 and appetizers like beef tenderloin with asparagus and empanadas with tuna that go from $8-$14. There’s often a wait for dinner, so grab a mango margarita or strawberry caipiroska to savor at the bar. 1492’s marvelous sangria is also worth getting punch-drunk for. Be sure to ask for a table out back, even if it means waiting a bit longer. Open Sun.-Thu. 6-11:30pm and Fri.-Sat. 6pm-1am.
