The pink champagne décor is a little more “Hilton” than Ritz-Carlton, but then again the service is equally as accommodating as a certain Hilton, so who’s gonna complain? This bar located at the tip of the island in the Ritz is your last chance to grab a drink on dry land before you get to Lady Liberty, so for those feeling the need to get drunk before visiting our nation’s symbol of freedom and equality, go for it—a glass of Bordeaux from the expansive wine list would be apropos in honor of the always gracious French. If you want to eat, stick to something easy, but with only ten seats at the bar the scene usually spills into the lobby. Now that's convenient if “something easy” decides to blow off the trip to Liberty Island and book a room. Open daily 6:30am-2:30pm and 6-10:30-pm.
