Named for a chile pepper specific to South America, tapas here have a savory kick best paired with sangria or a specialty cocktail like the chicha colada, which has chicha (a brewed corn beverage) instead of pineapple. Beer lovers will also appreciate the Chimay and Blue Moon among the draft choices. Sit in the tree-filled backyard garden or head upstairs to a roof deck with cozy sofas and sunset views. Live jazz and Latin music happens here often, and free salsa lessons are offered on Thursday nights. The idea here is not to feel rushed, and the relaxed staff could use some field experience, but by the time you read this and stop by, they’ll probably have some. Open Tue.-Sun. 5-11pm.
