Ara Wine Bar:
This place is so small, it has to step…oh, just take our word on this one—it’s small. But size withstanding, it’s not lacking in much else. A handful of stools surround this small bar where a limited but well-chosen selection of reds and whites by the glass chase away the blues. Mark-ups are minimal, meaning those who know what they’re doing can get a quality vino under $9. The back of this lightly colored space is great for group get-togethers, particularly in after-work or pre-clubbing hours. In that teeny-weenie back area, a mix of yuppies and bourgeois bohemians enjoy cheesy appetizers and bottles of wine and champagne. The sibling owners are worth chatting up, but do so quickly as some-one’s probably waiting for your seat. Open Mon.-Wed. 6pm-1am and Thu.-Sun. 6pm-2am.
A group of my lady friends and I were here late Saturday night We had a great time and the service was wonderful The ambiance was cozy, and comfy and yes small but that added to the charm Loved it!

Great neighborhood wine bar because it is small & intimate for catching up with friends. Soft glowing candles and cozy pillowed seated areas look conducive to flirting and wine conversation. The space is well designed with very cozy pillows and seating. The wine selection is great and you will rarely be disappointed. The bartenders are friendly and give good service.
