The space that was once Show and host to weekly ladies-nights-out in the form of male dancing is now Arena. This space now plays host to party icons Susanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny’s weekly Kino 41, which mixes club kids-cum-fashion designers with a snobby splashing of “model” socialites. Gone are the red velvet curtains and Moulin Rouge like theatrics. The sleek, blue-lit space now boasts silver coated walls, three floors with massive dome-like chandeliers, plasma screens that scroll through random imagery associated with that night’s party theme, and a coma-inducing 200,000 LEDs. The nose-bleed balconies and catwalks situated above the dance floor are perfect for assessing the huddled mess—and, of course, whether or not you want to take a handful of elbows for that vodka tonic.
