Attaboy:
Milk & Honey has gone speakeasy and reopened as Attaboy, a hot railroad style booze spot suggestive of Murder on the Orient Express, and already we see some thrilling changes with the reinvention. Attaboy has nixed the reservation policy of the former (because required reservations at a bar weren’t pretentious in the first place) and there’s increased bar space with a cleanly abraded steel countertop that lengthens the room. For those of you opposed to change, some things remain. The create-a-cocktail program is still in place so that if you feel underwhelmed by your drink you can only blame you. The lack of a menu can be either annoying or empowering—you’ll figure out which one when you tell bartender Sam Ross (we think we’ve heard of him) you want a cocktail that tastes like clouds on a rainy day, and not a Dark & Stormy. By the way, they’re $16 each. - Essence Williams
