Baddies: So, the door man at Beatrice has been a lot nicer lately, right? There’s a reason for that, and it may be too little too late: most of his clientele have ended up at Baddies. The basement club—tucked below the Greenwich Village gastropub, Kingswood—began as a private playpen for the usual coterie of fashionistas and European socialites, and it still feels like one. Entrance to the unmarked club entails knowing the right entrance (it's on Greenwich) and the right hallway (to your, well, right), but once you've found your way in, you'll be practically drenched in swank. With shiny lacquered floors, crushed velvet and crimson lighting, this place is redder than a freshly-spanked ass. Saturdays are accurately named “Vodka-Induced-Lovemaking-on-the-Dancefloor” night (hence, the bedroom humor) and as the crowd sways and bumps to the beats, you'll soon learn this place definitely encourages your baddiest behavior.
