Bar D’Eau (that’s “Water Bar” to you non-Francophones) is the new rooftop bar making waves at The Trump SoHo. Wet your lifeguard whistle with one of their delicious signature cocktails from an ever-changing menu—the Raspberry Press (house-made Grey Goose lemonade, Chambord, raspberries and lemon) and the Volstead (muddled raspberries and strawberries, Russian Standard vodka, St. Germain and prosecco) are as much fun to watch being muddled as they are to drink…almost. Just try not to drown when you see the bill—they’ll set you back $18 a piece. Fortunately, there’s plenty to keep you busy and away from the bar—lounge in a swaying cabana, enjoy the reflection of NYC in the pool (no diving! The pool’s not open to bar patrons), or challenge your neighbor to a round of Bocce ball. With all that and a big selection of “Small Bites” ($6-$15) like Jiffy Pop Popcorn with truffle butter and parmigiana, Bar D’Eau is guaranteed to make a splash.
