The Wild West meets the West Village at this festive watering hole, where the frozen margaritas will refresh and relax any urban cowboy (or cowgirl). Loud country music keeps the regulars happy and the atmosphere vibrant, and if you happen to come on an empty stomach, the full menu of Tex-Mex grub will be sure to satisfy even the pickiest city slicker. Choose the Fritos bag stuffed with chili, a burger, or a quesadilla to go with one of the seven beers on tap, or say to hell with tomorrow's heartburn and hangover and sling back a simple shot of tequila.
Despite the name, this isn't a dog-friendly establishment, really. Dogs are certainly not allowed inside (under NY law; there's food served) and they might be able to sit with people outside, ONLY in the summertime when there's sidewalk seating. Cowgirl BarK is no more dog friendly than most West Village restaurants with sidewalk seating.
