Barrio 47:
Claiming to be built "on the tradition of the classic cocktail and wood-fired, European cuisine"—a tradition most of us thought was just called getting loaded and stuffing our faces—Barrio 47 is a pretty hip place to do both. These wood-fired dishes are created using free-range meats and wild-caught local fish prepared in an open kitchen that's perfect for culinary sightseeing courtesy of high dining chairs. Highlights include the thin crust pizza with toppings such as smoked salmon ($12), braised baby back ribs ($22) and the fish of the day ($26). A hearty cocktail list with both classic and unique options is meant to be paired with the food and features tantalizing tipples like the spicy Bloody Maria and a wacky take on the mint julep known as the SF ($12-14). A small wine list ($8-$13 a glass) rounds out one’s drinking options. Barrio 47 may not be traditional, but it’s a tradition you’re gonna quickly welcome.
I became addicted to the raviolis with lamb ragout!!! OMG! Thumbs up ;)

Impressed!
I gave Barrio 47 a try when it first opened and have come back about 3 times since then. The atmosphere in this place is awesome! As well as the food and cocktails (my fav: Meli Melo).

burned pizza
I ordered a CACO or whatever the equivalent of their pizza is. It was burned, it tasted like newspaper. Never again.
