Do any of the patrons here know or care who Samuel Beckett is? Despite the portraits of the playwright/namesake on the walls, this raucous two-floor sports bar is much more suited for the big game than a roundtable on *Waiting for Godot.* Most notable for its two IMAX-sized screens bookending the first floor (and another one on the second), this is a no-brainer for the Superbowl or World Series. So schedule your book club elsewhere, and prepare to scream at a screen as if you're actually in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium. On off nights, people play Wii games like *Super Smash Bros. Brawl* on the big screens and chomp on typical bar fare. With so many choices on Stone Street, Beckett's is the place for people who aren't looking to leave their comfort zone...and their comfort zone is a mancave.
