If you’re longing for the responsibility-free days of balls, buffalo wings, and all day boozing, know that your college experience never has to end at Blind Pig, where the happy hour special every day from 11am-8pm gets you (what else?) $3.50 draft Bud and Bud Lite. Rub elbows with frat boys, their fathers, and the floozies who love them while trying to decide which of the nine flat screen TVs to watch. If only picking a major had been this easy! All swine jokes aside, though, the Pig’s a fairly laid back spot to get your drink and sport on, if that’s your sort of thing. Just try to resist the urge to snort “oink, oink baby” at those who pass by your table.
This place is totally lame. Frat bar city and piss poor service.

The comment "if places like this are your scene, why are you even bothering to live in New York?" is really annoying me. The great thing about NYC is that there is something for everyone. Obviously if you're looking for a techno club, don't come here. But if you're looking for a place that's not pretentious, where you can actually hear your friends and have a great time--then this is the bar you are looking for.

I came to Shecky's to write a review about the Blind Pig, and saw this BS editorial. I can honestly say, this writer needs to stop sniffing glue!! This is place is completely the opposite, and actually has an amazing decor, great menu, and great looking crowd. I recently had my birthday party there, and it was anything but a Hoboken-like-bar. Great spot!!! Don't let the Community College English major mislead you!!
