BLT Burger:
Is there such a thing as too many burger joints in NYC? Why don’t you mull it over at the newest one? BLT Burger (as in BLT Fish, BLT Steak, and BLT Prime) in Greenwich Village does nothing to hide its love for all things beefy: Cow art decorates the walls in the bathroom as well as the dining area, where a mounted bull’s head stands guard. Don’t be shocked to find the front bar area crammed with mostly men munching on turkey, lamb, or Kobe beef burgers ($16 for the American Kobe, $62 for the 100% Japanese variety) washed down with $3 cans of Schlitz (won’t find that at too many other burger joints). In addition to a healthy beer list, BLT Burger mixes up spiked milkshakes like the Night Rider (Kahlua, chocolate liqueur, Oreos, and chocolate ice cream), and has a small wine list. But we say stick to the brews - it’s just weird to have wine with your fries.
