Communal tables make this Upper West Side spot a great place to meet new people, or to dine and drink with the same, boring folks you’ve known forever. An eclectic small and large plate tapas menu (crispy calamari, $10; Apple & chicken sausage, $15) is perfect for sharing, while a chef’s daily tasting plate ($20) offers lots of flavor options, always presented with a flourish and several dipping sauces. The option to skip the noshes and just relax is available too, with a cozy outdoor cafe and a separate lounge where one can grab selections from a full bar. Happy hour is set to begin shortly, but for now, the main event is the tapas—just be sure not to grab more than your fair share off the community plates.
