Bon Chon: Given its location (across from the Empire State Building), it's no surprise that this all-in-one wing joint/bar/rest-stop is a major tourist magnet. But if you can stand noshing on Korean style drumsticks next to the fanny pack and sneaker crowd, you may find you hit pay dirt. Their special recipe includes double frying each piece of chicken and serving it with an array of dipping sauces. But the big catch is this Korean chicken emporium cranks out the combo platters and "specials" till closing, alongside your choice of cocktails—all at amazingly low prices. Most beers go for 6 bucks, mixed drinks for 10, and the food offerings, all Korean, are equally budget-friendly. Still, if atmosphere is what you're after, Bon Chon comes up way, way short. Boxlike, with electrically lit signs glaring the food choices, it's not the type of place romantic memories are made of. But for hungry frat boys out on a binge, it can be the place to par-tay.
