Come on, you know you’re dying to slide your feet into some well-worn, slightly sweaty bowling shoes. And what better place than at Bowlmor Lanes, New York’s coolest bowling spot that’s been open since right after prohibition ended? The place gives off a Day-Glo, psychedelic vibe, which may not be easy on the eyes or your aim, but who cares about gutterballs when there’s beer to take the edge off? This isn’t your typical bowling alley in the suburbs, though, of which the price will certainly make you painfully aware—it’s $8.95 per game per person, with an extra $5 charge for shoes. But Mondays (10pm-3am) bring you $22, glow-in-the-dark bowling, so why not save your pennies for a way to start off the week right?
My kids love going to Bowlmor, so I figured I would have my daughter's birthday there. When I called to see what kind of packages they had, the event coordinator went over everything with me, she was great! She thought of every detail possible. They have various packages at different price points to accommodate every budget. During the party, we had an event host that took care of everything, so I actually got to relax and take plenty of pictures! The food was great, the service was excellent and the kids had fun! I would have to say this was the most stress-free party I've had so far, I highly recommend this place to other parents.

Monday Night
I went to Bowlmor on Monday and surprisingly it was packed! I thought because it was a Monday it would be a little slow. Regardless, we only had to wait about 10 minutes to get a lane, they were pretty accommodating. We had a few beers and played a few games and had fun. Can't complain about the service or prices, they seemed about right for nyc.

It had all my favorite things!
My friends from college came to visit me and I took them all to Bowlmor. We had so much fun just hanging out at the bar, waiting for a lane. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we had one more drink and headed over to the lane, there we snacked on some food and had such a blast! It was something different for all of us to enjoy.

Decided to stop into Bowlmor on Friday...I was very surprised with what we saw. The place was packed...great crowd. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Although it took us awhile to get some lanes we ended up hanging out at the bar and getting some drinks and food. Just heard there's a new upstairs club called Carnival.

Went there during the week. Enjoyed bowling, and the prices seemed to right for drinking. Music is always playing! Beware the bouncer downstairs, he cards before you enter!
