Brooklyn Diner: Don't let the name fool you...Brooklyn Diner isn't in BK and it doesn't have the hairnets 'n' snaggle-tooth servers of your typical greasy spoons. Although you might doubt us from some of the usual loud diner décor, like a wall mural depicting Ebbets Field and the Brooklyn Dodgers, or the lit-up signs boasting “New York City’s best Brooklyn ‘insert any delicious item off the menu here,’" it somehow serves up a little bit of Brooklyn in Manhattan with class. Class meaning this diner is a hot spot for elite eaters and even celebrities. Yes, somethin' about the 15 Bite Brooklyn Diner®“All Beef” Hot Dog (frizzled onion rings, juniper sauerkraut, on a brioche bun, $18.95) and Famous Old Fashioned Egg Creams (with pretzel rod for dippin’, $5.50/vanilla or chocolate and $6.50/Vermont Maple Syrup flavor), keeps us, true-to-our-roots Brooklynites, wannabe BK-ers and Sir Paul McCartney, comin’ back. No matter where you're from or what you're ordering, the extremely plush booths are welcoming to all types. But be careful—drink too many of their delicious Tipsy Shakes (alcohol infused "Adult" milkshakes), like the Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana (Godiva, Bailey's, banana, chocolate ice cream and crumbled peanut butter cup, $9.50), and you might just find yourself drunk enough for a hysterical, '60s-style crying attack if/when you see Paul.
