Ajna Bar:
Magnifique! From buttons to Buddhas, this East-meets-West wonderland (a Parisian staple) boasts eclectic French Asian fare and sake-style cocktails ($13-$15) in a former button factory. Greeting you with castle-like stone doors, the 15,000-sq.-ft., cavernous space is filled with the bold (the Buddhas) and beautiful (the people), but it’s surprisingly friendly, too. Complete with a jellyfish tank (and jellyfish-inspired accent lamps), sushi bar, enclosed glass smoking room (with smoking-ban-approved ventilation system, of course), and four elevated “high roller” tables with glass flooring, Ajna sets the scenesters atwitter with a booming mix of world music and tribal house.
Made a reservation before, when got there my party wasn't all there I knew I have to go to the bar and wait, but Maitre D was super rude just told us with such attitude that I couldn't believe. Lounge service was horrible had to order our drinks 2x because she forgot the order.
Dinner was not great at all. My husband order mid rare lamb, came well done after we all finish our meals. (couldn't believe it for being Hung's top chef food - my Husband is a chef and tough it was a disaster).
Waiter "brazilian" had a attitude not friendly at all, and overcharge us a extra glass of sake that he never got and later on credit card extra 65.
Still trying to get my money back...
Please save yourself and go to SPICE MARKET instead.

The perfect place to take an anorexic for dinner. Ok, the sushi and sashimi are average to good, but the music consisted of 4 year old CD's. Where was the DJ? I went expecting awesome music, and all I got was the same old Buddah bar I could have listened to at home.

I made a reservation a month prior to my husbands' birthday for 20 people. When I called to confirm they told me that there is no reservation. Everyone makes mistakes but the party planner said that he does not make mistakes. He had no recollection of taking my credit card number. So basically he thought that I was wrong and did not try to accomodate my party until the day before. Too little too late. Did he actually think that I would wait for him to come around? Already had reservations for Nikki Beach Midtown which by the way was excellent.
