Building on Bond is the ideal kind of place to open down the street from you—which may make you sad if you don't live in Boerum Hill. This modern gastropub serves coffee, espresso and fresh pastries in the morning and new American fare for lunch and dinner. The décor is minimalist and the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. Look for a standard collection of American microbrews, all priced around $6, and a small wine list, but your best bet is the custom-designed cocktails featuring house-infused vodkas. Primarily a neighborhood place, Building on Bond attracts groups of locals to the bar and couples to the tables. Try the home-made macaroni and cheese and the Dr. Vu wings, which are marinated for 24 hours in cilantro, orange, thyme, and soy sauce. Open 12pm-1am daily.
i recently went here for the monthly comedy show that they have on thursdays and it was amazing, one of the best times i have had since i moved to new york! I will be back and suggest you inquire too, not sure when they have them but, it was a great surprise when i went and it was happening i stayed and had a great time, great reasonably priced food and drink too!
