The spirit of jazz legend Bobby Short is alive and well at Café Carlyle, one of New York City’s best-loved cabarets. With its whimsical wall-to-wall murals by renowned Moulin Rouge artist Marcel Vertes, pastel printed upholstery, and a stud-filled musician lineup, the Café still has classic supper club flavor. For a cool $85 cover charge, catch regular performer Woody Allen and the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band on Monday nights, or shell out for the legendary Eartha Kitt. The Café is open for dinner Monday through Saturday, and lunch on Sunday.
