If shouting over Shakira’s latest hip-shaker with a 24-oz. Cozamel Colada in a souvenir glass in your hand while checking out the baseball score and more seriously, checking out NYU students, is your idea of a fun night out, welcome home. Add on a plate of sizzling fajitas and an outdoor table on Seventh Avenue South and you’ve reached 21-year-old nirvana. There are 16 flavors of margaritas so there’s no chance of getting bored, and premium tequilas are available, but its doubtful this clientele asks for Sauza Tres Generaciones in their frozen grape margaritas…tragic. So how do you find this place? There’s a cartoonish-looking cab hanging on the side of the building and one inside, too...just in case you couldn’t spot the bright spot a block away.
don't waste your time. food is subpar, staff is rude, like you're intruding on their personal time asking for a drink. drinks are overpriced, because of the "souvenir" cup, but we never actually GOT a cup. go somewhere else. give your money to people who deserve it. oh, and salsa, with your MEXICAN FOOD, costs extra. so eat your entree dry.
