Carastina:
Benvenuto a Carastina! Piccolo in size, but certainly not in grandeur, Carastina’s serene atmosphere and airy décor will make visitors feel as if they have stepped directly into the Tuscan countryside. Offering both lunch and dinner, this new chic Italian restaurant is made for those with refined palettes (and deep pockets to match). With menu items such as lobster salad and pasta with braised short rib, it's nearly impossible to avoid spending upwards of $20 on an entrée…and forget the price tag when all the irresistible appetizers and desserts come into play. Looking to impress a new interest or host an intimate family gathering? Make your reservations in advance—this new spot is a heating up faster than a Sangiovese grape in the Tuscan sun! Buon Appetito!

I can honestly say that this restaurant is one to talk about. The food, service, and atmosphere are wonderful. I tried the Ravioli di Funghi and my wife had the Aragosta Arrabiata, both were very delicious. We had a great time talking and laughing with each other, and the owner who is very nice. Great food, great place and great people.

Two Thumbs Up
I went this past week and had a wonderful time. The place is small and gives you that warm cozy feeling while your eating. The Vongole Oreganata was absolutely delicious! Baked clams and seasoned bread crumbs were very tasteful and I enjoyed every minute of it. Would love to go back and try out some of the other dishes they have to offer. Two thumbs up.

When last week
And it was great....agree with first two here. Not sure what "Stuart" meant to say, and seems you gave them a 1 star, yet you never went??? That's not cool.
Anyway, our table had the mushroom ravioli, lobster special- 2.5lbs, lamb with saffron risotto, and sea scallops (spec I believe)....all great, presentation, and flavor. Very attentive staff but we came late so cant comment on primetime. Good wine selection, particularly the house reds. Dessert was awesome, a lemon sorbet served in a flut.

I read reveiws on other sites. Anything but what the above two posted. Who are they, the owners?
"Mediocre food, so-so service, HIGH prices (specials double the menu prices).
