The jury’s still out on whether average Joes who are actually funny get laid more often than good-looking rich men recycling bad knock-knock jokes—so you can decide for yourself after you’ve heard one of the side-splitting comedians at this top-notch, festively decorated comedy club. Boasting an impressive calendar of talent for 24 years, Carolines has featured funny men (and women) like Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, and Janeane Garofalo. So when your job’s got you down and you need to laugh off some NYC street rage (or you’ve just run out of good Michael Jackson jokes), head to Carolines and order up the Tower of Onion Rings or an apple martini or two; you’ll be laughing so hard you’ll forget you’re in Times Square.
A well run club except the waitress was not polite and I speculate she coughed on my spring rolls as I left NYC with the worst flu I have ever had, something akin to legionnaires disease. Be careful when traveling and don't hesitate to pass on your order as it could save you weeks of bed time. Low level employees can not be trusted anymore.
