It’s no surprise that the massive Chelsea Piers fitness facility has a “natural cafe” commited to healthy eating. At Chelsea’s Table, healthy eating means “real food”—local and organic—such as chicken banh mi ($9) and even grilled cheese sandwiches ($7.50), all-natural burgers ($9) and fresh salads ($7.25). There’s a kids’ menu that is decidedly not just Happy Meals, though the little ones will be happy with organic hot dogs ($3.25), chicken fingers ($5), and mac ‘n’ cheese ($6). This isn’t exactly a place to get loaded, but there are several organic wine by the glass options ($5) as well as Peak organic beer ($5), not to mention healthier non-alcohol tipples such as kombucha ($4) and Honest Tea ($2.25). Real food, really good...naturally.
