Walk, no need to run over to the newest Asian-Latin fusion spot to hit Chelsea. China Latina is a casual yet swanky spot whose menu is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. While the décor leaves something to be desired, the interesting food choices more than make up for it. The peking duck tacos ($16) are out of this world; they’re a little sweet and a little salty, and pair perfectly with an ice cold beer from China’s fully stocked bar. The drinks, while interesting in conception, are a bit bland in execution, so it’s probably your best bet to create your own exciting mix. Overall, this is definitely a nice spot for dinner with the girls or a date night with the hottie in your life. It’s trendy enough to make you feel in the know, but not so trendy that it’ll take 3 years to score a reservation.
