Trendy without being pretentious, Cittanuova is a casual, moderately-priced Italian restaurant and bar located in the heart of East Hampton’s boutique-lined Newtown Lane. Perfect for a date, dinner with the family, or a night out with friends, this spot is accessible and stylish, and the sidewalk al fresco dining is great for people-watching. The dining room has a small 12-seat bar where you can sip on wine from their extensive list of affordable Italian and Long Island varietals and catch a game on one of their three TV screens. There’s also a picturesque garden in the back which seats up to 150. The food is classic Northern Italian, and if you’re carb-counting, Cittanuova offers half-sized portions of their pasta dishes.
weekend travel,found this place and must say had agreat meal. really enjoyed the mozzarella selection. bar is big and friendly, lots of action, not very quiet inside. great view on main street.
