It's buried like a bone beneath LES sports bar the Doghouse Saloon, but don't be fooled by the (hot) dog and pony show upstairs. That's because Cloak NYC—a hidden weekend lounge—looks to run with a totally different pack. Think bottle service or a top-shelf martini while relaxing on black leather loveseats built for two. For extra privacy, white, sheer curtains flow seamlessly from the ceiling, providing a sexy cloaking device. And much like your loveseat, the space itself is small. Still, it can get crowded, as an unshrouded DJ booth and open dance floor promise quite a party. It may not be the a lead dog in the LES yet, but this Cloak will only hide its secret for so long.
Went to Cloak last weekend for a Birthday party and had a great time. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff attractive and professional. I will certainly be back with my friends in the future. Better hurry up and go before the word gets out about this spot.
