Corner Bistro: A tiny little place sits somewhere far, far from any reliable train in Long Island City, and inside lives men and women smiling at you through white framed-hipster hipster glasses while presenting an equally tiny menu. Welcome, you've just entered Corner Bistro, an LIC extension of the late-night grub seekers from the big city. For now, your drunchie options are limited to a solid "Chili Burger" ($8.00), "BLT" ($6.75), or "Grilled Cheese" ($5.75), with a nice beer on tap to wet your whistle, but a larger menu apparently will be announced soon. The burgers are loaded and greasily delicious, the booths are large and the location's great for a late-night, post-bar bite with your buds, with a kitchen open till midnight on weekdays and 1am on weekends. It'll almost make you want to leave the bar early to go grab some of these great eats—almost.
