Corner Social:
This laid-back Harlem joint isn’t a misnomer in the least. Set on the corner of Lenox and 126th, the bar is indeed an incredibly social addition to the neighborhood. This lively, rustic wood-covered spot is perfect for a group of friends or perhaps a romantic tete-a-tete. The large menu is full of American comfort food with a Harlem twist, with starters like buttermilk fried oysters ($10) and jumbo hot wings ($10) complemented by mains such as jumbo crab cakes ($18) and braised pork belly ($20). A solid selection of tap craft beer offerings from places like Goose Island and Ommegang ($6-$8), and local fave Sugar Hill in bottles ($6) are bolstered by a few dozen wines by the glass ($8-$12) and plenty of tasty 'tail options like the Tootsie Roll (all cocktails $12). The only thing that will stop you from being social is all the food and drink you’re putting in your face!
