Remember when fancy gallery openings were the only place you were allowed to drink around high art? Well at CultureFix, every night puts the “art” back in pARTy! The dauntingly tiny bar in front opens into a venerable art gallery in back where you can picnic with friends and get down to live performances. Take some time to peruse the current display while munching on multinational pintxos (that’s tapas, to the rest of us) like the Grilled Cheese of Greatness or the Gambas a la Chino with Kimchi Bok Choy ($2-$6, tasting menus from $30-$44). Don’t go there looking to get your cocktail-fix, it’s beer and wine only for now ($6-$9/glass or $19-$40/bottle). But remember, if you buy something at DijitalFix, their upstairs design and electronics nerd-haven, you’ll get a free drink—as if you needed added incentive to buy those retro-headphones.
