It’s safe to believe rumors that Marisa Tomei has been spotted at this smallish, rustic Sardinian wine bar. In fact, D.O.C. Wine Bar has steadily drawn a posh and, at times, celebrity crowd, who appreciate the vast selection of fermented grapes and authentic Italian cuisine. In the summertime, the sidewalk café is a great place to chill with a cool glass of Riesling or a crisp Pinot Grigio (and with bottles ranging from $20-$35, you won’t walk away empty-handed). But never fear—if your knowledge of wine is limited to the pink box or the white box, D.O.C.’s staff can help. They know their stuff at this non-intimidating hangout. Savor the flavor of the cheese, bread, and antipasti plates at D.O.C.’s, where it feels good (but doesn’t cost much) to feel fancy.
