Destino:
If you’d like to try on the Soprano lifestyle for an evening, a trip to Destino may indeed be your destiny. Originally opened in 2006, the spot temporarily closed when an upstairs pipe burst and flooded the entire place. After a long summer of restoration and repair, Destino is back in all its golden glory, with meats, pastas and wines that will blow your mind and empty your wallet. This Turtle Bay establishment exudes all things Real Housewives of New Jersey, from the crimson and gold drapes to the unbelievable homemade meatballs. A beautiful Renaissance-style mural spans the ceiling of the dining area, cementing the notion that this place is going to be well worth the price—would Justin Timberlake invest in anything less? While the dinner scene certainly has grandma appeal, the bar is a bit more of a neighborhood joint—businessmen leaving the office meet with Turtle Bay and Sutton Place natives to imbibe from the extensive wine list. Then again, with cocktails reaching the $15 mark, you might want to bring Nonna along after all and see if she’ll pick up the tab.
I was at Destino last week with a few of my friend for dinner. I thought the food and service were excellent. I had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were surprisingly better then my Grandmother's. The rest of my meal was just as great. The menu is somewhat pricey, but it is worth the money. I am definitely going back soon.

Destino is a destination for locals. The decor is classy, great service but the food is just ordinary. I was not impressed at all with the food. The highlight was the meatballs. The tasted similar to Chef Boyardee. The ambiance was very nice, loved the live music / piano bar and sing. I would say go there after work to listen to the piano and order meatballs and some wine.
