Stoic Irish bartenders add authenticity to this pub, where Tiffany-style lamps line the long and narrow bar room and a small dining area in the back. Get a dollar off your drinks during happy hour Monday through Friday. Music, well-poured Guinness, and superior bar food make Doc’s one of uptown’s better pubs for a pint.
The food is no good, the tap lines are dirty and the beer tastes skunked, and the few times I have been dragged here it was just an awful experience...
