Remember Double 7? Probably not, unless you are a celebrity, a friend of a celebrity or one of the few scenesters they let past the velvet ropes. And you may never see the inside of its reincarnation, brought back to life by David Rabin, owner of The Lambs Club. The new, larger space on 63 Gansevoort, aims to be more of an upscale cocktail lounge, with (no doubt) pricey concoctions by the famed Sasha Petraske (Milk & Honey, Litte Branch, etc.). Expect to find crocodile banquettes and smoky glass artwork if you are one of the 120 guests who make it in on any given night.
