We love DuMont, this burgers-and-brew spot’s big bistro bro, don’t get us wrong. It’s the perfect place to dupe your visiting parents into thinking that Williamsburg isn’t the slacker-infested den they suspect it is. DuMont Burger, however, is where you take your friends. Though its confines are small and you’ll likely be sharing the wooden table in the middle with strangers, this hangout is always warm, with or without friends. Run in on a rainy day for a delicious burger or soup and one of the rare beers on tap at the bar, or squeeze in with friends at the countertops lining the wall. The bartenders are happy to make conversation, and more importantly, you won’t see any parental units.
