El Cantinero:
With potent $4 margaritas served all night during the week and a kitschy south-of-the-border panache, you’ll feel as if you stepped into Cancun on acid. Largely a neighborhood spot, El Cantinero attracts a crowd looking to indulge in sinfully strong margaritas, low-cost dinners, and a genuinely good time. The attempts to reflect cultural Mexicana are illuminated by brightly colored lanterns, a disco ball, a massive blue spearfish, and sombreros that make up the shabby second-floor hideaway. Arrive early on the weekend for happy hour drink specials from 4pm-8pm and free tortilla chips that are essential after the dance floor becomes a jam-packed, thumping fiesta. Fair warning: There is no standing around while you sip your frozen concoction; it’s all about shakin’ your maracas ’til you make it or Latin hotties will whisk you into a world of salsa and merengue.
The food here is quite authentic! I am a huge fan of Mexican food and there are so many restaurants which try to make their food authentic and a lot of em are good but this restaurant takes the cake!!!! And the prices are unreal!!! My family and I went out for my father's birthday in January and we had a blast! Their portions are huge and filling!!! If you go on a Monday night they have an "All You Can Eat" special for $9.95 in their first floor dining room! Good food! And great prices! I am definitely going back!!!

I LOVE this place! The margaritas are great - you can even have them mix flavors in the same pitcher! I recommend the mango and raspberry. If you say it's your birthday they sing, give you a sombrero, and free flan! Dancing upstairs, but I'm too shy to go!
