Pssst: just between us, the owners of Orsay have turned their upstairs space into a secret late night lounge, Entre Nous. They’re hoping for a “just-what-the-UES-needs-kind-of-place” and to attract a crowd that’s neither frattastic like many of the ‘hood’s typical patrons, nor mature (read: AARP) like many of the restaurant’s patrons. Cocktails, like the Lychee Martini and the Bellini (both $15) won’t bring the downtown crowd north, but perhaps the table service and house music will (or will at least keep Upper East Siders from hopping on the 6). If you like your bottles served with a side of lace curtains and scallop lollipops, then you’re in luck, mon amis—Entre Nous and Orsay share a kitchen, and they’re known for their tres bon bites.
