Epoca Restaurant & Lounge:
Next time you’re stuck in Midtown for dinner (you poor soul), try Epoca Restaurant and Lounge, located within walking distance of the Empire State Building, MSG and Penn Station (a.k.a. the black hole of foodie-dom). While the “lounge” designation may be a stretch, the sprawling space is a welcome option for a late night cocktail or dinner at the expansive bar. Grab a seat and ogle at couples clearly on an awkward first date as you sip on one of the bar's specialty cocktails ($12-$16), all made with fresh herbs and fruit purees. Brave the Jalapeño Cocktail, and you’ll be seeing red and we’re not talking about the “mood lighting.” While Epoca is a bigger hit as a restaurant than lounge (the Lemon Fettuccini with Prawns is a must, $22), the low-decibel DJ tunes and amiable mixed crowd make for a nice escape from the area’s tourists and commuters.

Epoca has a very comfy environment and the food is delicious, great for the whole family, great to celebrate your bday, anniversary,or just to come with your soulmate and have a romantic dinner; I love the food and the service I recommend it to anyone
