Felice Ristorante & Wine Bar: A younger (yet more mature) sister to the rowdier, further-downtown flagship Felice Wine Bar, this ristorante has a longer name and, thus, more food options to choose from. The Robert McKinley-designed joint has wine jug chandeliers, large windows and street-side seating to enjoy dishes like toasted Tuscan bread (eight options, $10-22), fritto misto ($14), risotto ($18-20), and even “L’Hamburger” made with short rib and brisket ($16). Of course, wine is the reason for your visit and Felice’s adjoining bar offers at least 20 by-the-glass options ($8-18), including weekly specials not typically served by the glass ($MP). Traditional Italian favorites such as Frangelico, Limoncello and countless other cordials that end in “O” are also available, as are numerous varieties of gellato (two scoops, $6). Soon, you’ll be hoping for enough Felice locations that you can organize a bar crawl amongst them!
