The future is here, and it looks like a sumo wrestling arena. And the self check-in kiosk at an airport. And a yoga studio. Oh, and a swanky restaurant/lounge. FOUR, located on the fourth floor of Yotel (in the future, “hotel” is spelled with a Y), is an 18,000-square foot space of endless possibilities. The connected rooms are designed for everything from business meetings to movie screenings, but at least one constant remains: Chef Richard Sandoval is serving tasty Latin/Asian small plates, and the bar is offering Latin/Asian cocktails in the sleek dining section, called DohYO. Diners sit at standard tables or on the floor with their legs in a well to eat Colorado Lamb Leg ($10) and Crunchy Shrimp ($8). Imbibers mingle at DohYO’s bar or out on The Terrace (equipped with its own two bars) to enjoy Strawberry-Lychee Mojitos ($13) and 2-liter growlers of beer ($30). After midnight on weekends, DohYO’s tables lower into the floor to become a stage, but it’s up to current-you to make sure future-you doesn’t drink that whole pitcher of Sake Sangria ($35) and put on a show of your own.
