The same guys who brought Prospect Heights their first bona fide beer bar (Washington Commons) are hoping to do the same in Clinton Hill with the opening of The Fulton Grand, located at—yep, you guessed it—the corner of Fulton and Grand Aves. And it's about time—the area has seen a boom in the past few years, with wine bars, cafes and cocktail lounges popping up as fast as you can say “Atlantic Yards project". The new space pays homage to all things booze, mixing college frat house decor (think framed Jack Daniels ads) with vintage European beer signs. While it hosts a full bar, the brews are what you come for; 12 drafts ($5-$8) include options for both the beer geeks (Pretty Things Jack D'Or, Fuller’s London Pride) and their tamer bar buddies (Guinness, Goose Island IPA). Sticking with the happy hour deal of its predecessors ($2 off all drinks until 8pm), this may become the place where everybody knows your name.
